Good company
We did have a fantastic dinner: me, Aila and Natalie spent hours eating pike, shrimps and lobster, drinking the best Chablis and talking… and talking… and talking. Just before twelwe o’clock my old friend Leslie and his wife Anna showed up. Anna is seven months pregnant, they had just had a multi-course italian dinner nearby and were already in a great mood.
This year, Swedish media mogul Jan Stenbeck wanted to show everyone how much money he could spend on New Year’s Eve fireworks. But we just laughed and said: let’s boycott the capitalist pig - bring out the best champagne, have some more Swedish lobster! Why go outside now?
Several hours later we said goodbye to our guests.
